Fueling Future STEM Leaders: Snacks & Support on the Move!

Help me give my students a collapsible wagon, snacks, individual whiteboard markers, erasers, and a portable whiteboard to support engaging, mobile learning experiences in our outdoor classroom.

My Project

The collapsible wagon will allow us to easily transport materials between the classroom and our outdoor learning space, ensuring that students can engage in hands-on STEM activities without logistical challenges. The whiteboards, markers, and erasers will provide an interactive way for students to solve problems, collaborate, and visually demonstrate their thinking. A portable whiteboard will help facilitate whole-group instruction, making it easier for students to stay engaged and follow along with lessons. Lastly, snacks will help keep students energized and focused, removing hunger as a barrier to learning and allowing them to fully participate in class.

The goal of this project is to create a flexible, engaging learning environment that extends beyond the classroom walls.

By utilizing the school courtyard as an outdoor classroom, students will have the opportunity to think critically, collaborate, and problem-solve in a refreshing and inspiring setting. This project will help foster creativity, encourage active participation, and ensure that all students have access to the tools they need to succeed.

My students are brilliant, driven young women attending an all-girls STEM-certified school where they are preparing to become future leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. They are curious, hardworking, and eager to take on challenges, but they also face unique obstacles that can sometimes hinder their learning. By providing them with the necessary resources, we can create an environment where they feel supported, empowered, and ready to reach their full potential. These students are the future engineers, scientists, and innovators of the world—this project will help ensure they have everything they need to thrive.
