Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a school where many of my students come to school each day eager to learn, even when their tummies are rumbling.

Our classroom is full of curious, hardworking kids who are doing their best to stay focused, but it’s hard to concentrate when you’re hungry.

Sometimes, students arrive late and miss breakfast, or they just need a little something to help them power through the afternoon. That’s where you come in!

With your help, I’d love to keep a stash of healthy snacks in our classroom—simple items like granola bars, applesauce, cereal, or goldfish,—that I can offer to any student who needs one. These snacks are small, but the impact is big. They help boost energy, improve focus, and support a more positive learning environment.

Along with the snacks I would like to provide a way to store them so that the snacks are organized and accessible for students to grab when they need it.
