Fueling Fitness, Building Futures

Help me give my students PE equipment such as hula hoops, balls, and cones so they can stay active, build healthy habits, and prepare for future athletics.

My Project

I love how energetic, determined, and eager to learn my 6th graders are. They come to class ready to move, challenge themselves, and work together as a team. My students are at such an important age where they’re building not only healthy habits, but also confidence and discipline that will carry into middle school sports and beyond.

Each piece of equipment will give them opportunities to learn and grow:

Hula hoops and bean bags help with coordination, balance, and fun skill-based games.

Volleyballs, soccer balls, footballs, and softballs allow them to practice the fundamentals of different sports while building teamwork.

Cones help create stations, drills, and organized activities to keep students moving.

A ball bag will keep our equipment organized and make sure it lasts longer for future classes.

The Mikasa F6000 Advanced Composite Football will give students the chance to learn with a high-quality, durable football that prepares them for future athletic play in middle school and beyond.

The Spalding REACT TF250 Basketball provides my students with an official-size, game-ready ball that will let them practice real basketball skills and build confidence for competitive play.

With these resources, my students will stay active, improve their fitness, and gain the skills they need for PE and Pre-Athletics—all while having fun and learning the value of health and exercise.
