Fueling Fitness and Friendship: Launching Our First GOTR Team!

Help me give my students snacks, warm-up tools, and team attire to empower our 3rd-5th grade girls through fitness and social-emotional learning as we start up our first Girls on the Run track program!

My Project

Our 3rd–5th grade students are energetic, curious, and full of potential. Many of them are eager to try new things but don’t always have access to extracurricular opportunities that support both their physical and emotional well-being. This project will give them a chance to shine—on the track and in life.

We’re launching our school’s first track team, and we’re excited to partner with Girls on the Run, a program that blends physical activity with social-emotional learning.

Students will train for a celebratory 5K while participating in lessons that build confidence, teamwork, and resilience.

To make this program a success, we need your help to provide snacks to keep our runners energized, warm-up tools to support safe and effective training, and team attire so students can feel proud and united during our final 5K event.

This project will not only promote physical fitness but also help students develop life skills that support their mental health and emotional growth.

Your donation will directly support students who may not otherwise have access to a program like this. You’ll be helping them build healthy habits, strong friendships, and a sense of accomplishment that will carry far beyond the finish line.
