This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our first-grade classroom is brimming with eager learners who are full of curiosity and creativity. However, as the school year progresses, we’ve run out of some essential supplies that our students depend on daily to explore, create, and grow.

I am seeking support to restock essential items like glue sticks, writing paper, folders, construction paper, and Play-Doh.

These tools are critical for hands-on learning, helping my students develop fine motor skills, practice problem-solving, and engage in creative expression. From colorful art projects to organizing their work, these materials help build confidence and foster a love for learning.

We have been using these supplies all year to fuel our learning and creativity, but as the months have gone by, our stock has dwindled down. Items like markers, paper, glue sticks, and Play-Doh have been essential to our daily activities, and now it’s time to restock so that our students can continue thriving.
