Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Age-appropriate books are an essential part of our preschool classroom, providing young learners with the foundation for language development, imagination, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
When books align with our classroom units of study—whether it's exploring nature, learning about animals, or diving into numbers and shapes—they create a bridge between what children already know and what they're ready to discover.
These carefully selected books encourage curiosity, foster early literacy skills, and help students make connections to their everyday experiences. Through vibrant pictures, simple text, and relatable themes, age-appropriate books engage preschoolers, sparking conversations, critical thinking, and a love of reading that will last a lifetime.
