My Project

When thinking about what I love about my 3rd graders, it’s really their curiosity and eagerness to learn. They ask questions that show they’re excited about the world around them, and they’re developing a strong sense of independence in their learning journey. I love watching their confidence grow as they master new skills! As for the school supplies, each resource plays a role in fostering that growth: Notebooks provide a space for students to organize their thoughts, practice writing, and reflect on what they’re learning. It helps them build a habit of writing and developing their ideas. Crayons and markers give students a creative outlet to express themselves in projects. Whether they’re illustrating a story or highlighting important points in a book, art tools help make learning visual and fun. Pencils and erasers are essential for practicing writing, math problems, and revisions. They help students feel comfortable making mistakes and correcting them, which is a big part of the learning process. Dry-erase markers help students to practice without the pressure of permanence. They can easily work through problems and erase as they go, which encourages trial and error and quick feedback. Folders and pencil pouches help 3rd graders practice organizational skills so that they can become independent learners.

Each of these supplies gives students the tools they need to be creative, confident, and independent learners!
