Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need snacks to help keep them fueled throughout the day so they are not hungry or lethargic. My students come from various home situations. Some of them may come to school late and miss breakfast. This can cause them to have a rough start to their day. All students should be able to go to their classes and learn without hunger hanging over them while they are learning.
Making sure that my students are well-fueled will help them to be happy and more focused on their work.
Having these snacks that they can obtain on the go can allow them to eat and still make their next class on time. On the go items like Goldfish or Pop Tarts can help keep students going in the right direction and can help them to settle into their reading and writing activities in good spirits.
