This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school is full of amazing young people. They are highly motivated and most travel from all around the city to attend our school. Our students hold themselves to a high academic standard and are equally committed to excellence in the Fitness Center! Having access to healthy snacks immediately following exercise and workouts will be an enormous benefit to our students well being. Being able to consume quality snacks post exercise will allow students to focus on their next class instead of being distracted by hunger. Additionally, my hope is that access to these types of snacks will keep students away from the more readily available unhealthy options!
