My Students

“Curiosity is the engine of achievement,”- written by Ken Robinson, truly speaks to how we can best prepare our 21st century learners. The students at our school are at the pinnacle of curiosity using technology, collaborating on projects and exploring the world around them.

My school consists of a wide variety of students with different abilities and socio-economical backgrounds.

My students are eager to learn, but we do not have full access to the technology that we need in order to be successful.

My Project

Technology has become such an important part of our lives, as it is a tool to seek information and create. My students LOVE seeking information and especially enjoy creating! As 21st century learners, iPad keyboards will enable my students to foster their curiosity and creativity through various applications installed on the iPad. For example, using Dance Mat Typing will allow my students to safely practice their typing skills in a fun, interactive way. The resources needed in this project, the bluetooth enabled iPad keyboards, will support my students desire to learn about the world that surround them and share their learning with others.
