This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Covid has not only impacted our students with the learning gap that we have seen but also their social emotional needs as well. Through the funding of this program we will have materials to assist with our schools social emotional curriculum and encourage my students foster a growth mindset. We also can fuel their bodies throughout the day. At my school many of our children come from poverty and come to school hungry so having a snack pantry in our class for the students to access can help them throughout the day.
