This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are children of farm workers and have limited access to new technology. Many of them have never even touched a computer.

My school has ninety-eight percent of students qualifying for free or reduced rate lunches.

Their parents do not have the financial resources available to provide them opportunities to use technology at home.

When my students are given the opportunity to use technology, their eyes will be opened to all of the opportunities that are around them. Furthermore, they will learn many of the skills that are necessary for college bound students.

My Project

My students have had to get used to a laptop that freezes all the time. We can't watch any type of educational video without that happening. When we go to science websites, virtual field trips or just try to Google something, we have to wait forever because our laptops resources are not up to speed.

My students need a laptop that will Fuel the Learning in our Classroom at all times.

Our old laptop keeps running out of gas and putting the brakes on our learning. Help our class keep moving down the educational highway by giving us a brand new, up-to-date laptop.
