My Students

This year I'm teaching a 2/3 combo class. The students are wonderful, creative, kind and generous. The third graders mentor and support the second graders, which has helped me immensely.

They are a diverse group of learners with a strong STEM sense!

These students are all about science. They love learning about their community and doing research about where they live. We have been using Project Based Learning a lot in our classroom to push their thinking! All students will be working at their independent level to grow and become self motivated learners.

My Project

My students do not currently have access to laptops directly in my classroom. They are limited to the resources within my room. The students are technology natives who have a drive for research and learning.

Their inquiry and curiosity need to be fostered!

My students are working hard on independence and with the use of the Chromebooks, they will become driven and self motivate. The world will be their playground! We have been working a lot on Project Based Learning (PBL). Through PBL, my students have had their learning ignited with curiosity and deep thinking. By having these Chromebooks, my students will be able to collaborate on their PBL projects and do research as a group!
