My Project

Help our 6th-grade classroom stay clean, calm, and cared for with basic cleaning supplies and healthy snacks to support wellness and social-emotional growth. My students are kind, creative, and resilient learners. Many come from homes that face economic hardship, and our school works hard to provide a safe space where students can grow academically and emotionally. We are a Title I school, and for some of our students, school is the most consistent and supportive part of their day. Our goal is to create a “Clean & Care” station in our classroom—a student-led space stocked with basic cleaning supplies and healthy snacks. These simple items help our students feel physically safe and emotionally supported. Students will help lead and manage this space as part of our social-emotional learning and classroom responsibility goals. Students will rotate through classroom jobs like supply organizer and snack station helper. They’ll take pride in taking care of their space—and each other.
