Fuel Hungry Fifth Graders

Help me give my students snacks to finish out the year strong! My growing fifth graders have been struggling to make it through our longer days this year without a snack.

My Project

Help fill the bellies of my growing fifth graders with some snacks! My school has a free and reduced lunch rate at around 75%, so food insecurity is a concern.

On top of that, our district transitioned to a four day instructional week this year meaning our students are at school longer than they were before.

Right now our students have about 5 hours between lunch and when they get home for dinner. They are struggling to make it that long without some more food in their bellies! These snacks will help relieve the hunger so they can focus and give their best in class.
