it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
State testing week is approaching, and my classroom is filled with eager learners who are still adjusting to the routine after spring break. During this crucial time, we need to ensure that our students stay fueled and focused. This project will provide quick and easy access to pre-packaged snacks like applesauce, pretzels, and Goldfish crackers. These snacks will help give their brains the fuel they need and their bodies the energy to perform their best during testing. Many of my students don't have time to eat breakfast before school and can’t access food from the cafeteria until lunchtime—by then, they've already been in class for hours! Having a steady supply of snacks in the classroom will keep them nourished, focused, and ready to take on the challenges of state testing week.
