Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many days, students arrive at school hungry and unable to focus during classes. As the days have been getting colder, more students have arrived at the library cold and hungry. I want to provide these students with something nutritious that will help them get ready to do and feel their best. I want students to know that they deserve nutritious food and that there are people who support and care for them

In this project, I have requested a variety of protein-filled snacks that students will have access to when they need a boost.

The chips, meat sticks, cookies, and other treats requested are in single-serve containers so that students can grab them on their way to class.

Every student needs to have what they need to be successful at school and food insecurity should never be an issue to hold a child back.
