Fuel For Our Brains!

Help me give my students healthy snacks as well as wipes to clean up quickly so we can right back to our work!

My Students

My students are in fifth grade in a public K-8 school in Boston. It's a great place full of engaging teachers. While our students can come from many areas of Boston, many are from Hyde Park, a great, vibrant community. Our school is fully inclusive and the students learn compassion and acceptance as well as academic skills.

We could use a few extra supplies to really make learning fun and accessible to all!

Our families provide most of our basic supplies, and I supplement as much as I can!

Our longer school day means we need more fuel to keep learning. Please consider donating so my students can have a mid-day snack.

My Project

We have a long school day and a late lunch, making a snack a necessity for growing children! I am requesting snacks like applesauce, goldfish, Cheezits and granola bars so my students can have a quick mid-day snack. We take a snack break and some children don't bring a snack. It's becoming increasingly cost prohibitive for me to provide all of the snacks for the entire class.

It's hard to stay focused when your stomach is grumbling!

These snacks can alleviate this problem! They are packaged and will last for a few months. They will also be easy to distribute!
