My Project

Our students range from 16-year-olds with and without family support to 23-year-olds with responsibilities such as caring for themselves, family members, their child or children, those who are overworked yet underpaid, and those who are displaced and homeless. However, regardless of the disappointments, obstacles, naysayers, and self-doubt, they are determined to complete the requirements to walk across the stage with their diplomas.

Help our students succeed by preventing hunger and lack of resources to stagger their daily growth by relieving a simple need. The school provides breakfast and lunch; however, some students miss breakfast and leave early for work or family obligations.

Those who take advantage of breakfast and lunch often need refueling during the day to be alert and present. My co-teacher and I have exhausted our funds and need your support to continue to fuel our scholars. Our snack project will help to keep our students engaged, aid concentration, and improve their overall performance.
