My Project

This is an engaging project designed to provide our incoming freshmen with a smooth transition to their high school journey! My students are rambunctious, funny, and have done some amazing learning this year.

I have put together the most highly requested healthy snacks to create an inviting atmosphere in class.

The snacks help some of our students make it through the day when they aren't able to get enough food at lunch and don't have food available when they go home.

With 90 minute block scheduling, many of them struggle to have energy for the whole period without a pick-me-up. I aim to foster a sense of community, excitement, and belonging, laying the foundation for a successful high school experience. The highlighters, post-its, and candy will provide extra incentives to get all students through tough readings at the end of the day!
