Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students work hard every day in the art classroom - planning, creating, experimenting, and problem-solving. Whether they’re diving into a new project or finishing a challenging task, a little boost of energy can go a long way in keeping them engaged and motivated.
With the school day which is often long and busy, many of my students come to class without snacks or a way to recharge.
I’d love to create a small classroom “snack station” stocked with items like granola bars, fruit snacks, and candies. These treats will also be used as rewards, brain breaks, or quiet boosts during independent work time.
Having snacks available shows students they are supported and cared for. It's a small gesture that can make a big difference in helping them stay focused, feel valued, and enjoy learning.
