This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students the healthy snacks they need to stay focused and ready to learn each day. In our classroom, we work hard, think deeply, and support one another—and having access to nutritious snacks plays a big role in making that possible.

Some of my students come to school without a snack, and not all families are able to provide one consistently.

I want every child to feel included and cared for, no matter their circumstances. When students are hungry, it’s harder for them to concentrate, participate, and engage with learning. A quick, healthy snack can make all the difference in helping them stay energized and confident.

With your support, I will stock our classroom with snacks like granola bars, crackers, fruit cups, and other simple, nourishing options. These snacks will be available to any student who needs them—no questions asked—because every child deserves the chance to learn without the distraction of hunger.
