Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year our hydroponic garden project was a big hit. We truly inspired the next generation of scientists and engineers! We want to continue our project on next school year. With that being said we need to replenish our seed pods and add additional kits. My students continue to express interest in gardening, and our "From Seed to Lunch Table" project was proof that this was a great way to engage students in STEM education.

With hydroponic gardening students will continue investigating plant needs and develop a deeper understanding of sustainable food production through a hands-on approach that is both fun and educational.

Hydroponic gardening offers an innovative solution to traditional gardening methods, as it doesn't require soil and can be done indoors. This means that students can explore plant growth and development at any time of the year, regardless of weather conditions.

Together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of our students and help cultivate a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
