My Project
Help my scholars have the materials we need to have successful at-home learning during inclement weather days. My students need headphones that they can use to help them focus when having to stay home and learn virtually to prevent being distracted by things going on in their homes from parents having to work from home or siblings attending school virtually at the same time. Recently, inclement weather and tornadoes have come through our area, which causes students to stay home. Many students do not have the resources they need to have a smooth experience. I have requested the headphone holder as a place for storage when the headphones are at school when the students return so that we can keep up with them, and students will have access to them to take home when we are faced with inclement weather.
Sometimes, the issue is beyond headphones because some don't have access to technology.
This is where we need a printer and paper to make at-home practice packs for students. We often know the day before and can adequately prepare work packets, study resources, and small projects for students to complete at home. I can quickly provide them with a working printer, printer cable, and copy paper. In addition, I also included a TPT gift card to purchase interactive activities used online to enhance learning. This teaches them to be independent learners with an engaging activity. Students love working with See Saw, Google Slides, and Google Class. Students often don't realize how much they are learning using the interactive activities while learning virtually virtually!
