This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our campus, the Reset Center serves as a safe space where students reflect, grow emotionally, and receive the support they need to re-engage with school life in a healthy way. To deepen the impact of our work, we’re requesting SEL materials and supplies that will help students build self-awareness, manage conflict, and develop real-life coping skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Additionally, we’re seeking support for our student council, who work hard to uplift school spirit and student voice.

With a campus-wide no-phone policy, students often miss the chance to capture key moments like homecoming, pep rallies, and service events. We want to provide creative tools (like cameras, printing supplies, and display materials,) so our student leaders can document and share the school year in a meaningful way for their peers.
