From Points to Prizes: Stocking our Class Store

Help me give my students a variety of prizes to redeem their Class Dojo points on, earned through hard work, participation, and kindness.

My Project

This year, Skinner Middle School began using Class Dojo, a platform for giving students points for positive academic and behavioral choices. Students in Spanish class redeem their points on prizes (such as snacks, sitting with a friend, getting to play an academic game, etc.) through our class store.

By donating to this project, you will help stock our class store with prizes that motivate students to earn Class Dojo points by actively participating, taking ownership of their learning, and being kind to others.

Students are more than excited by the prospects of snacks, stickers, and fidgets for those who get a little wiggly from time to time. We are also excited about the possibility of students being able to buy earbuds with their Dojo points. In Spanish, students use online platforms that often require headphones, and unfortunately I don't always have enough working pairs. Your generous donation will help with this!

Finally, I have to share how thrilled I was to see the sloth fidgets. We have a beloved mascot in our class named Bubbles. He is a stuffed sloth who is an active participant in many lessons, and for some reason students are crazy about him! When I asked students how many of them would buy the sloth fidget with their Class Dojo points, the majority of them raised their hands. Any donations to this project will give students a little piece of Bubbles the sloth to take with them.
