This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In Pre-K, we help students develop their skills in every learning domain, from Social-Emotional to Science and Technology.

To help our students further develop their computer literacy skills, we are requesting one classroom computer that the children will use to explore keyboard functions, type their names, and control the cursor on the screen using the mouse.

While we are grateful that the district provided iPads, when students move on to kindergarten and first grade, they will be expected to know how to use a computer to complete tasks in their technology classes. We want to ensure that we provide our students with as many opportunities as possible to succeed beyond the Pre-K classroom.
