Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Personal mailboxes encourage positive communication and build community. Highlighters promote self-awareness and engagement by helping students identify key emotions, goals and behaviors in reflective activities. Exercise mats provide a space for mindfulness, stretching, and movement breaks, which support emotional regulation and reduce anxiety.

These resources will help create a classroom environment that nurtures the whole child.

Laminating sheets allow me to create durable, reusable SEL tools that empower students to manage their feelings, build empathy, and develop resilience in a consistent, hands-on way. Squishy toys can be used as calming tools to help students self-regulate by giving them a quiet, tactile way to release stress.
