Help me give my students the tools to gain the skills needed for independence. Students learn to cook meals using simple appliances such as the Cusimax double hot plates electric burner. Help me help them prepare for success.

My Project
"Cooking for Independence: Life Skills in Action"
In our special education life skills class, we focus on teaching students essential daily living skills to help them become more independent.
One of the most important skills they need is cooking—an activity that not only fosters self-sufficiency but also boosts confidence and self-esteem.
With the help of these donated appliances and kitchen tools, my students will gain hands-on experience in meal preparation, kitchen safety, and teamwork. These skills will empower them to take care of themselves, make healthy choices, and feel a sense of accomplishment in their abilities. Your generosity will provide them with the opportunity to build independence, practice real-world skills, and develop confidence in their daily lives.
