My Project

My class is a close knit community within our school. These kindergarten students are very artistic and like to express themselves. These supplies will help them become more creative in all aspects of their education and make learning more hands-on and fun. By having new white board markers, glue sticks and cardstock you will be encouraging this group of scholars to expand the knowledge they are learning.

As emergent readers, kindergarteners are just starting their reading and writing journey.

I am looking to expand my classroom library to help students find books that they are interested in and are able to read the words without viewing the pictures to guess what they are reading. By having new decodable grade level readers, my students will have the opportunity to enjoy reading from a young age. With these decodable books my scholars will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of books that they will be able to read on their own, with a partner or in a small group.
