This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely adore my kindergartners. They are bright, curious, full of personality, and always eager to learn. This year, I’ve watched them grow in so many ways—academically, socially, and emotionally. From learning their first sight words to making new friends and showing kindness to one another, they’ve made so much progress. They’ve worked hard, overcome challenges, and blossomed into confident learners ready to take their next big step.
As we approach the end of the school year, I want to honor all they’ve accomplished with a special graduation gift that celebrates their growth and encourages them to keep dreaming big.
Each item I’ve selected for this project has a meaningful purpose:
“Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” books to inspire them to believe in themselves and their potential,
Personalized notes to remind them of how proud I am of each unique journey,
Fun, playful treats like slime, bubble wands, sand buckets, and beach balls to spark joy and send them into summer with smiles.
These keepsake gifts will make their last day of kindergarten unforgettable, while also showing them that their hard work matters and that learning is something to be celebrated.
