This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you believe that my students still use the Pentium computers from 20 years ago? I just wish that my students will have the opportunity to learn from the awesome technology called smartboard.

I work at a Title 1 school where almost everyone in my classroom gets either free or reduced meals.

A lot of the parents still do not have an email account. In my classroom, I still use the Pentium computers. This school was built in 1928 and we are still in the dark ages of technology. Our school is the only school around the neighborhood without a computer lab. Many of my students do not have the technology to learn at home.

My Project

With the smartboard, my students will be even more excited to learn and come to school. I can already see the excitement of them coming up to the board to touch the letters or numbers that we would be working on. The benefits of having this technology would be countless!

This project will make a difference in so many students' lives.

It will bring excitement and endless meaningful learning in school. With the technology, students will be actively engaged and excited!
