My students love labs. When they walk in and see beakers and chemicals, I hear "YES! We have a lab today!".
One challenge is that our school only has about six functioning triple beam balances that are shared between three teachers' classrooms.
Often times, students have to wait to start the lab because we don't have enough materials. Our end goal is to purchase 12 electronic scales, but we can start small now, it will make a big difference.
This equipment will help every student in science class have real-world chemistry experiences with hands-on learning. Each students can begin their lab right at the beginning of class without having to wait for another group to finish.
