From Fractions to Folders: Fueling 3rd Grade Learning

My Project
I teach an amazing group of third graders who are full of energy, curiosity, and a love for learning. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique strengths to our classroom every day. What makes them truly special is their resilience and determination to succeed, no matter the challenges they face. My goal with this project is to provide them with the basic supplies and tools they need to stay organized, engaged, and motivated throughout the school year.
These resources will help turn our classroom into a space where learning is active, visual, and exciting.
Pencils and folders will keep students prepared and focused. Math manipulatives like Pentominoes and Rainbow Blank Fraction Tiles will make abstract concepts more hands-on and accessible. Chart paper will be used to create anchor charts—visual references that support independent learning—and reward stickers will reinforce effort and achievement. Every item in this project is a small but powerful step toward helping my students thrive academically.
