This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As the school year draws to a close, we reflect on the journey our students have taken, the challenges they've overcome, and the successes they've achieved. Looking forward, we are excited about the opportunities and potential of the upcoming school year. However, to ensure our students continue to thrive academically, we need your support.
Our school serves a diverse community of learners, each with unique needs and aspirations.
Despite their differences, they share a common desire for success and a thirst for knowledge. Unfortunately, many of our students face obstacles beyond the classroom, including financial hardship and lack of access to essential resources.
To bridge this gap and provide our students with the tools they need to excel in our classroom climate, we are launching this Donors Choose project. With your generous contributions, we aim to secure essential school supplies for both the end of this school year and the beginning of the next. Basic school supplies are in need now, such as glue sticks, Kleenex tissue, markers, and colored paper/card stock. These items, along with others such as laminating sheets, erasers, and other classroom basics, will allow my students and I to get off to a good start.
