Help me give my students a bird's eye view to a chicken's journey through the life cycle.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Clark's classroom raised $196

My Project
Our preschool students are studying farm within their weekly theme unit. Within this unit, they learn about farm animals and how they grow and live.
How awesome would it be to give them the gift of seeing the life cycle of a chicken right inside their classroom!
Funding this project will allow them to engage in their culminating STEM project-based learning (PBL) activity. They will use the life cycle eggs to track where their chicks are, all while using the incubators to hatch fertilized chicken eggs.
Living in a low-income rural community is an obstacle to our students' background knowledge as many do not have the opportunity to see these baby animals and learn how we get the eggs we eat. We are trying to remove that barrier by providing them with experiences that they normally would not have.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
