Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! Even though we live in a city full of violence and money problems, these kids come ready to learn! They take trains, cars, and feet traveling all over the city to get to school, which is so amazing! These kids have more skills than most adults I know! They can map out and maneuver a city that can be crazy at times with ease. I am so excited to be their ambassador, fighting for them to have the materials they deserve!

My Project

My students are really into fantasy books and these are some of the new ones and additions to some great series! My students also love Dungeons and Dragons (which is super cool!). It helps that Stranger Things happened, but I also am using Dungeons and Dragons to work on writing and teamwork. With these books, not only will they have awesome books to read, but some of them will also add to the adventures they will go on in class! I am super excited, as are my students, to have these awesome books in my library to check out and explore!
