My Project
In our marketing class, we believe in the power of hands-on learning. We are excited to launch the "Shoebox Retail Store" project, where students will design and operate a mock retail store using a simple shoebox.
This project will allow students to explore key marketing concepts, merchandising strategies, retail layout and customer engagement techniques in a fun and creative way.
Students will utilize shoeboxes to create unique retail store displays, encouraging creativity in product presentation and branding. Through this project, students will learn about product selection, pricing, and promotional strategies as they develop their store concepts. Working in groups, students will practice teamwork and communication skills as they brainstorm ideas and execute their store designs. Students will engage with their peers as customers, gaining valuable insights into customer behavior and service.
To make this project a success, we are seeking a supply of shoeboxes for each student to create their retail store models. Craft materials such as glue, and decorative items( shopping baskets, food, shelves and carts) to personalize and enhance the shoebox displays is requested.
