My Project
In our special needs classroom with various abilities, including autism and Down syndrome. Our students don’t just imagine their futures, they build them, layer by layer. Through our 3D printing project, students engage in every phase of production including designing products, operating 3D printers safely and independently, marketing and selling their creations, practicing customer service, handling money transactions, and fulfilling orders.
This real-world practice bridges the gap between classroom learning and the workforce.
However, our success depends on a crucial and consumable material: 3D filament. Each product our students create requires filament. The more they print, the more they learn.
Without a steady supply, the heartbeat of our project comes to a halt.
