My Project
My students are innovative, creative, and full of entrepreneurial spirit. As part of The RAMS Factory, our student-run t-shirt printing business, they design and produce custom apparel while exploring real-world applications of STEAM—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. From digital design to problem-solving and product marketing, they are immersed in hands-on learning that fuses creativity with critical thinking.
To take their work to the next level—and do it in an environmentally responsible way—we are requesting an eco-friendly sublimation printer; this printer will allow students to create high-quality, vibrant designs using sustainable ink and low-waste processes.
Unlike traditional vinyl methods, sublimation provides professional-grade results that are fade-resistant, durable, and aligned with green production practices.
This project will deepen our STEAM integration by connecting the science of heat transfer, the technology of precision printing, the engineering of product design, the artistic process of visual creation, and the mathematical thinking behind pricing and production. Students will learn how these disciplines come together in real business scenarios—all while building a brand they can be proud of.
