My Project
Imagine starting each day in a calm, welcoming, and clearly structured space—a place where you know exactly where your things belong and feel a sense of ownership. That is the kind of classroom I want to create for my students next school year.
Many of my students live in multi-family homes where space is shared, and personal belongings are often limited or constantly shifting.
Because of this, they come to school craving a sense of consistency and structure. Our classroom is not just a learning environment—it’s their safe space, their routine, and often the most predictable part of their day. When materials don’t have a designated home, learning time is lost, and students struggle to feel ownership over their space. My goal is to provide them the space and sense of belonging they deserve while at school.
That’s why I’m requesting support to create a more organized classroom environment. With items like storage bins, hanging folders, labels, and desk organizers, I can ensure that each student has a designated space for their materials. These tools will help create a classroom where routines are smoother, students are more independent, and learning can happen without unnecessary stress.
