From Chaos to Calm: A Space for Every Student

Help me give my students cozy seating, floor cushions, a soft carpet, storage, and fidgets to create a calming, organized space where they can feel safe, focused, and ready to learn.

My Project

I work with an incredible group of students who are creative, energetic, and unique. Many of them face behavioral or emotional challenges, and they thrive in environments that offer comfort, structure, and support. What makes my students special is their ability to persevere—even when learning feels tough. My goal for this project is to create a calming, sensory-friendly space where students can self-regulate, refocus, and feel safe.

The cozy seating and floor cushions will give them flexible options for where and how they learn best.

A soft carpet will help define a peaceful reading nook that feels warm and welcoming. Storage carts and containers will help keep our space organized and clutter-free, making transitions smoother and reducing distractions. Fidgets will provide quiet tools to help students stay focused, especially during challenging tasks. Each of these items will help build a classroom where all students feel supported, seen, and ready to learn.
