Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m hosting a visual arts camp for students in grades 1–5 to explore creativity through hands-on projects in drawing, painting, sculpting, and even 3D printing. Each week, students will dive into a different Element of Art—line, shape, color, texture, space, form, and value—while learning about real artists and experimenting with different materials and techniques.
To help make this experience meaningful and engaging, I’m requesting paintbrushes, clay, canvas, smocks, pencils, 3D printer filament, and a paint booth sprayer.
These supplies will give students the opportunity to safely explore a wide range of artistic media and express themselves in new and exciting ways.
Your support will help provide a vibrant, creative space where young artists can build skills, confidence, and joy in making art. Many of these students don’t have regular access to art materials, so this camp is a rare and special opportunity for them to grow through creativity.
