it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The usual “sage on the stage” way of teaching in our classroom often limits how much my students truly engage with Science and Math. Whenever we get the chance to do hands-on experiments, I try to involve the students by asking them to bring materials—but more often than not, I end up buying the supplies myself. Still, those moments when students work together, explore, and light up with curiosity are when real learning happens. Unfortunately, with limited resources, we have to stretch out these activities over several days, which takes time away from diving deeper into other important Science and Math lessons.
LEGO education's Spike Prime set could help us a lot in teaching Science and Math concepts in a more concrete way by allowing them to tinker, build LEGO robots, and use their LEGO robots to discover solutions to problems presented to them.
By having the LEGO Education's SPIKE PRIME set, students will be able to get the engaging hands-on experience they need while they investigate and discover the STEM problems or concepts in the classroom.
