Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
So many of my lessons incorporate art in some way. whether that be with one pagers or plot diagrams with storytelling purpose, students are constantly utilizing coloring utensils to draw, color, write and express their knowledge of the literature we're reading in class. Having the necessary tools allows the students to go deep with their work and showcase it with pride. They love having supplies that don't limit their learning, such as colored pencils, dry erase markers or flair pens. Many students take their art pieces seriously when they have the essential tools to work hard and succeed.
