With whiteboards, I can give feedback instantly and in real time, making quick adjustments to show how structure and word choice impact the skill. Students feel more comfortable experimenting with their writing when it is easily erasable and knowing that mistakes can be easily corrected or disappeared! Post-it poster paper has also encouraged collaboration, allowing students to share their ideas and thinking visually in a large format.
