My Project

I am passionate about creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where my 7th-grade students are actively involved in their own learning. While our new classroom is coming together, there are still some practical resources we need to support our students' success.

"As a first-year teacher, I’m excited to create a fun and engaging classroom where my 7th graders feel inspired, supported, and ready to grow into confident, curious readers." These donations would help to make our classroom more of a dynamic and fun environment for all.

With the ever-evolving role of technology and literacy in education, these items will help address essential needs and enhance the classroom experience. For example:

A barcode scanner will allow us to set up a classroom library system, enabling students to check out books independently while keeping track of inventory.

Dictionaries will provide a hands-on resource for learning word meanings and developing vocabulary.

A table and stools will offer flexible seating, promoting collaboration and engagement in a space currently lacking such options.

Organizational tools like the folder notebook will help students keep their notes tidy, while a stapler will be invaluable for assembling assignments.

A pencil sharpener will ensure students are prepared to focus and learn daily.

To support my new after-school chess club, I’ve included a chess timer to teach students the strategic use of time during matches, which they are eager to learn.

These donations will transform our classroom into a more dynamic and engaging space where all students can thrive. By providing the tools and resources we need, you’ll be directly contributing to their growth, creativity, and success.
