This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my students bookshelves, bulletin board paper, and easel pads to create a warm, welcoming, and engaging third grade classroom environment.
Next year, I am moving up to third grade and my future classroom is quite bare—old, broken bookshelves, no decorations, no basic tools for instruction.
My goal is to transform this sad space into a vibrant, inviting learning environment where students feel safe, inspired, and excited to learn from day one.
Having designated spaces to display student work, organize materials, and share learning goals is essential to creating a classroom culture where students feel seen, valued, and motivated. Bookshelves will help us store and showcase our growing classroom library. Bulletin board paper will allow me to set up welcoming displays and anchor charts that reinforce learning. Easel pads will give us a flexible tool for interactive lessons, brainstorming, and group discussions.
