Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are young, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. They work hard and want to over-excel in all that they do. When we are in class they love helping one another and giving each other the support. They are very open-minded and absorb the information given to them quite quickly. They are inquisitive and learn through experiences. Their fascination with the world allows them to see even the smallest detail. They are always excited to share the world they see through their eyes. The world through the eyes of a four/five year old is fascinating.

My Project

Music is something that everyone enjoys, but specially ETK students. It can be used to calm, create, and even energize. It is part of a well-rounded education. Many believe that it is essential for students’ social and emotional well-being, and a critical tool for establishing equity and access.

In ETK, students love to dance, sing and learn, but without a device this becomes extremely difficult.

With this iPod, Students will learn not only the academics, but will have access to music education. They will learn vocabulary, patterns, rhythm, beats, and the culture of music. Music will help them express who they are. ETK is a wonderful time to establish a foundation for the love of music.
