Our classroom is made up of nine hard-working, bright, effervescent, and remarkable students. The classroom is a substantially separate room in a Title I school, in which each student has an autism diagnosis.
Each student brings something special to the classroom!
They all have a range of different abilities. Our main goal in our room is to promote independence in many areas, including self-care skills, self-regulation, social skills, academics, gross motor skill, fine motor, and much more throughout the year!
My Project
My students need basic supplies to work on letter identification, number identification, color identification, shape identification and fine motor skills. Each student in my classroom is at a different level of need and the materials being sought will help them also increase their work independence.
Hands-on learning benefits all my students!
The Tweezer tongs sorting kit will help students work on their fine motor skills and their color identification skills. The Build the Letter set will familiarize students with the A, B, Cs and how to form the letter. The Simple Shapes Puzzle Board will help students sort, learn colors and shapes. The students can complete all of the activities independently, which is one of our main goals!
